Overview

Impact challenges are brainstorming sessions where employees of a Fast Forward partner develop ideas for teams in our portfolio. Your team will work to develop a challenge statement with the Fast Forward staff. We will then present this statement to volunteers from a partner organization who will brainstorm solutions realtime. There will be a debrief period to dive deeper into specific ideas. Originally, we worked with EY on running an Impact Hive together. We are working to be able to run this program ourselves using our own tools.

Benefits of Participating

You will get a laundry list of ideas that will help you solve an issue your organization is facing. When we run this activity in person, TNPs also have the opportunity to network with employees participating in the brainstorming sessions.

Typical Engagement

Timeline

• Develop Challenge Statement (1-2 weeks before event, ~30 min of time)
  • Your team will work to develop a challenge statement with the Fast Forward staff.
• Impact Challenge Event (1.5 hour virtual or in-person event at partner office)
  • There will be a fireside chat to introduce you and your org to the corporate volunteers. (~20 min)
  • We will then present the challenge statement to volunteers from a partner organization who will brainstorm solutions. (~15-20 min)
  • There will be a debrief period to dive deeper into specific ideas with the volunteers. (~30 min)
• Debrief with Fast Forward Team (~1 week after event, 30 minutes)
  • We will send out a survey to your team members who participated and have a debrief call to collect feedback on how the event went for your team.

Free for all teams! Our partners are generous enough to volunteer their time and brainpower to our teams.
